Music lessons on offer at Tuneful Solutions in Canterbury are in

Flute, Recorder, Piano, Keyboard.

I teach students from age 5 upwards learn on these instruments using a variety of styles to suit their individual needs and interests. Students learn step by step using tutor books, books of choice and my guidance. They can play their favourite tunes for fun and there are opportunities to practise towards a practical examination. 

 

I recommend using lesson technique books which have a variety of music to learn  points in a step by step method and a book or two of pieces of your choice to play alongside.  There are many styles and genres of books available eg Disney, Movie tunes, Pop tunes, Christmas tunes, classical music, jazz and lots more.  If you like online shopping you can find a huge variety of books Here. You can also go to  a  local music stores, however there will be less variety to choose from.

Lessons are in-person in Rolleston or at some Canterbury Schools and online via zoom at a time to suit.

I encourage us to meet up either at my place or zoom prior to the commencement of lessons to discuss goals, experience and general musical matters. We can talk over the phone or email or text if this suits better.
