Do You Want to Learn The Keyboard?

What is a Keyboard?

A Keyboard is an electronic piano with black and white keys. It varies in size and  and gets turned on with a button.  The player can create ranges of sound and rhythmic patterns with the many buttons provided. The placement of these features vary between makes and model of keyboard.

How Do You Play the Keyboard?

You play the keyboard instrument by pressing the black and white keys with your finger pads to produce the sound you are wanting for any particular piece you are on. However there are  features on the keyboard which you can alter to vary the sound. The features include voice options and style options for a rhythmic bass line.

Styles of Music you can learn?

You can play a keyboard like a piano or you can use it to play the melody with the right hand and the chords with the left hand as indicated by the chord symbols written above the melodic notes on sheet music.

Hence this instrument is  great to learn if you like playing around with varying sounds and rhythmic bass lines.

Players are often found in bands of varying genres.
The great thing about a keyboard is that you can piano style if you want to. You can find a size to suit your needs. It is portable. And they are cheaper than a piano.

Recording

You can use a keyboard to record music  onto a computer with use of a recording software program. This can be done by connecting the keyboard to your computer via USB connection or connecting it to an audio interface first and then to your computer if your keyboard does not have a USB connection.
